Get to know AL Murphy
Al is a life-long resident of DuPage County. He is the owner of an Ace Hardware store in West Chicago, where he has worked for many years to build a reputation as a trustworthy, hard-working community member. Al and his wife Tammie are proud parents to three children that they raised in West Chicago. While raising their children Al and his wife often would spend time with their kids in our DuPage forest preserves, always teaching them the importance of protecting and respecting the natural beauty within.
Al was first elected to Commissioner in 2014 and has since proven that he truly cares about the tax payers of DuPage as well as all 26,000 acres of preserve that the board oversees. Now Al is up for re-election and he needs your support to continue his good work.

- All work was done while I supported and advocated for a flat tax from the Forest Preserve District
